With funding secured by the National Science Foundation, SLA Labs will launch the GIGs for Kids program with Cumberland County Schools in Fayetteville NC. Students from grades 9-12 will lead the nation in this ground breaking workforce development program delivering work based based learning programs for 5G, Aerospace, AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering, IoT, Facility Management, Healthcare and Robotics.

BUILDING THE NEXT GENERATION OF DEFENSE SUPPLIERS The Mentor-Protégé Readiness Labs (MPRL) is a scalable technology transfer and workforce development framework designed to strengthen the Defense Industrial Base by accelerating the growth of small businesses, veteran-owned firms, non-traditional defense contractors, and emerging technology providers. MPRL Mobile Platform (Project GIGPilot) connects mentors, protégés, universities, industry leaders, innovation ecosystems, and workforce development partners to create sustainable pathways into DoW programs.
